Divorce is undeniably, one of life’s most challenging experiences, fraught with emotional turmoil, uncertainty, and stress. However, amidst the chaos, there lies an opportunity for growth, healing, and transformation. This is where a Conscious Divorce Coach can help. As a Conscious Divorce Coach, I am a compassionate guide who helps my clients navigate divorce with awareness, empowerment, and resilience.
As a Conscious Divorce Coach, I am not your typical divorce advisor. I am a holistic practitioner, I combine my legal expertise with spiritual guidance, intuition, and energy healing to support the individual through the process. Unlike traditional Divorce Coaches, who may focus solely on the legal aspects, a Conscious Divorce coach takes a more holistic approach, addressing the emotional, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of divorce.
I combine my legal knowledge and my spiritual gifts. I practised as a Family Lawyer for nearly 25 years. I have always had an interest in the holistic and spiritual side of life, so I qualified as a Life Coach, as well as a Reiki Master, Akashic Code practitioner and a Galactic Realms practitioner. I developed my Intuitive gifts and am also able to verbally channel my Spirit Guides.
By combining all my skills, I can help clients to make empowered decisions so they can align with their values and aspirations for the future. My aim is to provide legal support, intuitive guidance, and tools to help clients to navigate the challenges, communicate effectively and cultivate a sense of peace and well-being at a time when their life is in turmoil.
Practices, such as mindfulness, meditation, visualisation, and self-reflection all help. My aim is to empower clients to take ownership of the journey, embrace the change and create a new life full possibility and purpose. In essence, I help clients to transition through divorce with grace, resilience, and a renewed sense of self.
What are the main emotional and spiritual challenges when navigating divorce?
There are many emotional and spiritual challenges when navigating divorce. I will cover the main ones that I see. One of them is grief and loss – divorce often involves the loss of a significant relationship leading to feelings of grief, sadness, and mourning. Clients may struggle to come to terms with the end of the marriage and the loss of shared dreams and future. There can also be anger and resentment, especially if there are conflicts or disagreements between the parties involved. These intense emotions can make communication and cooperation difficult and can hinder the healing process.
Divorce can also shake client’s confidence and self-esteem, leading to feelings of self-doubt and a questioning of their worthiness. Often clients may struggle with feelings of failure, shame, and inadequacy, particularly if they blame themselves for the breakdown of the marriage.
There can also be feelings of loneliness and isolation, especially if individuals lose social connections or support networks because of the separation. Quite often friends and family take sides, and this can lead to a sense of alienation and loneliness. This often forces individuals to re-evaluate their sense identity. They may struggle to redefine themselves outside of the context of their marriage.
There may also be some spiritual disconnection as divorce can challenge spiritual beliefs, and practices, leading to feelings of disconnection from their faith or spirituality. They then may question the meaning of purpose of their experiences and may struggle to find comfort and solace in their beliefs.
There are many more emotions, and of course, each case is different – each client experiences different challenges. Such emotional and spiritual challenges can vary in intensity and duration, but they will all be important aspects to address and navigate during the divorce process. By working with me I can help those individuals cope with these challenges and find healing and growth during the turmoil of divorce.
Why is the legal divorce process so harsh?
Having practised family law for many years, I know that the legal process of divorce can seem very harsh. Even though the process has changed in the United Kingdom to a no-fault divorce system and mediation is encouraged, often, it still feels like quite an adversarial process because each party tends to need their own lawyer to represent them, and this can foster conflict and escalate tensions between them, making the process more contentious and challenging.
Even with the best will in the world, divorces are an inherently and emotionally charged experience, and the legal process can exacerbate these emotions. Issues such as child, custody, property, division, and spousal support can be highly contentious leading to heightened conflicts between the parties. If it is not possible to be amicable or to reach an agreement, then divorce can be both expensive, with legal fees, court costs. It can also be lengthy. The prolonged nature of the legal process can mean that the emotional strain and uncertainty experienced by divorcing clients can continue for a long time, and quite often they feel as if nothing is in their control.
Why is it important to change the narrative on the harsh legal divorce process?
As a Conscious Divorce Coach, I really would like to be able to change the narrative on this legal process and to help my clients change the narrative too. By doing this, I’m hoping to empower my clients to see divorce as an opportunity for growth, healing, and personal transformation. This shift in perspective can help them reclaim a sense of control over their lives during this challenging time. Furthermore, the harshness of legal process as discussed above can be a significant toll on my clients emotional mental and physical well-being.
By reframing and narrative, I can help my clients to focus on self-care, resilience, and holistic well-being, promoting healing and recovery throughout the divorce journey. Divorce can be a catalyst for personal growth and transformation if approached with intentionality and mindfulness. I can help to change the narrative to one of possibility, resilience, and renewal. I can help my clients to harness the potential for growth and create a positive vision for their future beyond divorce.
How can you take a holistic approach to divorce and separation?
By taking this holistic approach to divorce and separation, I can provide a safe and supportive space for clients to express the emotions, fears, and concerns about the divorce process. I offer empathetic listening, validation, and encouragement as they navigate the emotional challenges that come with this. One of the things that I like to do is to encourage meditation, deep breathing exercises and being present during the divorce process. This helps them to develop greater clarity and insight into their inner experiences.
As a spiritual guide and intuitive, I can also bring forward a higher perspective of why the clients might be in this situation and to help move them forward. I can support them in this way to find meaning, purpose, and strength in a time of their life which is very difficult for them.
As part of what I offer, there is a lot of healing as well, so the client feels always supported. As a qualified family lawyer, I can also educate the clients about their legal rights options and responsibilities during the legal process. This empowers them to make informed decisions about legal matters, and I also help them to understand the legal system and what to expect.
How does intuitive guidance and energy healing help empower you through the divorce process?
You might wonder how intuitive guidance and energy healing can help empower the client through the divorce process. In fact, they can be very powerful tools for empowering clients in several ways.
For example, intuitive guidance helps clients tap into their own, inner wisdom and intuition as well, allowing them to access deep insights and clarity and understanding about their situation. By connecting with their intuition, clients can make decisions that align with their true desires and values, empowering them to navigate the divorce processes with greater confidence, and authenticity.
Energy healing techniques such as Reiki and diamond light healing can help clients release, emotional blockages and energetic imbalances that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or emotional turmoil during divorce. By clearing these energy blockages, clients can experience a greater sense of emotional balance, peace, and well-being, enabling them to navigate the challenges of divorce with more resilience and clarity.
I can even go further than that because intuitive guidance and energy healing can help clients identify and heal past wounds, traumas or patterns of behaviour that may be impacting their current relationships and experiences. By addressing these deeper issues, clients can release old thought patterns and behaviour that no longer serves them, empowering them to create healthier, more fulfilling relationships in the future.
Intuitive guidance can also provide clients with insights and guidance that can help them making empowered decisions throughout the divorce process. By tuning in to their intuition, clients can get clarity about their options, trust their instincts, and make choices that are in alignment with their highest good, rather than being driven by fear, anger, or external pressures.
Energy healing techniques also help clients manage stress and anxiety associated with divorce and separation. By promoting relaxation, grounding, and centring these techniques can help clients feel more grounded and present in the moment, reducing feelings of overwhelm and anxiety about the future.
How do I incorporate energy work into my divorce empowerment coaching sessions?
As I’ve mentioned, every client’s needs are different. When a client first has a session with me, we will discuss what’s going on in your life and what you need most need help with at that time. We will then create a package for you, or we might just see what you need each time we meet. Some of the work that I’ve done with clients includes, giving them legal support so that they can understand more clearly how the system works, how they can work with their solicitor effectively and what they might expect from the process.
As well as that I listen and empathetically as they pour out their sadness, frustrations and their feelings and help them to feel supported.
In terms of the energy work, I help them to move past elements of the trauma that they’re going through by offering them intuitive guidance, channelled messages from my guides, both of which bring greater clarity to why they might be in the situation, they find themselves in and how they might be able to best tune into their own needs and values – because quite often, my clients have lost that sense of themselves when I see them at first.
Then I will also incorporate energy work, such as cutting chords with the relationship, looking at the soul contract that they have in the relationship and clearing it, using Diamond lights and Reiki, to dissolve any of the negative energy that has been absorbed by my client from the situation, and from the partner who can quite often have been quite toxic in their behaviour towards them.
I will also use the Akashic records to look at any energetic blocks that might be within their records which can quite often show that they have been in difficult relationships before, and those blocks need clearing so that they can move forward without attracting the same sort of relationship again. One of my clients had energetic blocks of trauma in her records purely from the current relationship in this lifetime and we were able to clear them for her.
I provide a completely safe space to explore everything that needs to be explored, up to where the client feels comfortable.
I feel that helping clients through the divorce or separation proceed process with this level of consciousness is not just about getting through the process – it’s about thriving through it. I believe the way I work and help clients to reclaim their power, find meaning amidst the chaos and emerge from divorce or separation stronger, wiser, and more resilient than ever. By embracing awareness, empowerment and healing, divorce can be turned into an opportunity for growth transformation, and ultimately a more fulfilling life.
